Originally founded in 1924, Sampson Gaskets Limited has progressed from a small office in the City of London at Aldgate and Southwark, to Brixton, Peckham, Chatham, and finally in 1989 to their present custom designed factory at Rochester, Kent. The manufacturing side took the name Sampson Seals Ltd and after the acquisition of St Stephen Seals & Gaskets Ltd in 1983, revised its name to Sampson Seals & Gaskets Ltd. The addition of an export division in 1994, spread our expertise and quality of product and service throughout the world.

During 1996, Sampson continued with new investment, with the addition of new presses and a large factory extension to facilitate improvements of our computerised stock control system and expansion of our export division.

The advent of a new millennium saw Sampsons implement new computer and telecommunication equipment ensuring we entered this new era in a position to respond to our customers everchanging needs. The investment continued in 2001, with the installation of an 'Exact Technology' CAD controlled flat bed profile cutting machine. Able to quickly cut any profile in non-metallic materials ideal for prototype or production quantities for many industries.

2004 was an important year in Sampson's history, when a management buyout saw the company change its name to Sampson Gaskets Ltd, the seamless changeover strengths Sampson's position in the marketplace and ensures we will remain one of the leading gasket and sealing suppliers in the United Kingdom.

2005 has seen the start of investment in high quality integral key personnel with an emphasis on promotion of the Sampson name and image, ensuring we keep our customer fully informed of special promotions, new products and the latest news within Sampson's and the gasket industry.
