Style A90-DFR are moulded with the Pure Expanded Mineral Flexible Graphite Tapes evenly wrapped and compressed under extreme pressure to many profile rings and sizes of various densities using our highly precision steel moulds. We provide a wide variety of mould dimensions to satisfy the needs of every applications
Material Data : Die-Formed Rings Purity : 98%
Density : 1.2 to 2.2 g/cc
pH : 0-14 (except strong oxidisers)
Op. Pressure : 450 bar to 700 bar max. Temperature -240°C to +3000°C (Non-Oxid)
-240°C to + 500°C (Oxidising)
-240°C to + 650°C (Steam)
Certifiable to as low as 50ppm leachable chlorides
Meets MIL-P-24503 types I & II specifications

The suggested Expanded Graphite tapes length required to manufacture these rings can be calculated with the following formula:
L = Ring Volume Tape Width
F = 0.035 (cm gr.) cm³e.g. stuffing box = 20 x 30 x 5mm
